It’s important to understand our agency’s goals. If the goal is to grow internal headcount, our focus will be on training new employees and utilizing our Learning Management System so that the new employees have a resource to build a solid foundation. Perhaps their goal is speed to market, so we focus on automation and integration partners to help achieve these goals. Relying on past experience as a Nexus user who previously worked in healthcare staffing, I think it’s important to view things from the user perspective and understand why and what they are trying to achieve. This helps us build a plan to achieve these goals.

Our industry trends dashboard is an incredibly powerful tool that can truly help guide the decision-making process for any agency. It provides insights into order volume, bill rates, gross margin percentage, extension rates, and cancellation rates, all down to the MSP or zip code level. This is a tool that should be used weekly to help drive both pay and bill rates, giving an incredible competitive advantage in today’s market. I spent years manually calculating much of this same information when I was working on the agency side. Our dashboards are updated daily and available at just the click of a mouse. No manual calculation needed!

We have multiple integration partners within several buckets, such as e-Signature, background screening, competency testing, texting, phone, automation, and AI. I love that we have various options to cater to the specific needs of any agency.

The most rewarding part of being an Account Manager for LaborEdge is experiencing the agency wins. When I say this, I’m referring to those moments when an agency comes to you with an idea or goal they want to achieve. When this happens, we get to work deep diving with questions and problem solving until we reach resolution. While the agency's reaction to the solution is great, the real win comes a few weeks after when you hear about the impact it had on the internal users of the agency and/or its healthcare workers!
